I/ General Matter

The community event grant program is designed to support interactive activities between the community and the NEAR ecosystem. Sponsored events are considered to be community-driven initiatives that provide updates on NEAR ecosystem-related information and news, as well as market information relevant to the NEAR ecosystem, and so on. The funding for this program will come from NEAR Vietnam Hub.

II/ Conditions and Criteria

• Event Time: The sponsorship request must be submitted 3 weeks prior to the event date.
• Criteria: Events must meet at least one of the following criteria:

• Sharing knowledge and information about technology, market, and the development of Blockchain.
• Provide updates on market information related to the NEAR ecosystem/projects built on the NEAR.

• • Actual attendance: at least 50 participants. Commitment to ensuring the actual attendance aligns with the scale.

• NPS survey: 50+ and ensuring that 70% of event participants are satisfied with the program (Will be guided in detail by NEAR Vietnam Hub).

• Responsibility: The sponsored community or organization is responsible for executing the event from start to finish. This requirement ensures that the community/organization has full ownership and responsibility for the event’s success.
• Event branding: Event branding must adhere to the NEAR brand guidelines and be approved by NEAR Vietnam Hub before promotion.
• Event content: The proposed event should have valuable content, including presentations, workshops, discussions, or any other format aimed at sharing knowledge and experiences within the community. Content related to the NEAR ecosystem should be submitted to NEAR Vietnam Hub for review and approval of the program details no later than 7 working days before the event.

III/ Disbursement Policies

1. The “sponsored events” will undergo a screening process to assess their quality, suitability, target audience, and the value they bring to the NEAR ecosystem. This ensures that the funding is allocated to community-organized events that align with the objectives and have a positive impact on the NEAR ecosystem in general and NEAR Vietnam Hub in particular. NEAR Vietnam Hub has the sole discretion to decide whether to provide sponsorship for a specific event or not.
2. The Sponsorship Agreement contract, or any related contract, must be signed at least 14 days before the event takes place. NEAR Vietnam Hub is not obligated to advance any sponsorship funds until the agreement (sponsorship) is executed by both parties. Therefore, it is your responsibility and in your best interest to ensure that all registration forms are submitted on time to ensure the assurance of your funding for a specific event; otherwise, we cannot guarantee it.
3. The disbursement schedule of the sponsorship budget will be divided into 2 stages (pre-event and 3 days after the event’s completion after acceptance testing and submission of a complete report). A detailed description of the milestones expected to be achieved with the non-refundable funding.For example:
   • Stage 1: Provide a complete proposed plan, KPIs, and committed OKRs for the event. The payment for Stage 1 will be sent within 5 days of receiving the invoice.
   • Stage 2: Provide the results achieved compared to the initially agreed-upon KPIs and complete the acceptance testing of all agreed-upon activities, accompanied by a post-event report. The payment for this stage will be made after completion of acceptance and 3 days after receiving the invoice.
4. Other scenarios: Change of sponsorship recipient: If a change is proposed for the sponsorship recipient after the initial registration form submission, the change must be documented in writing with clear consent from both the sending and receiving parties. This requirement ensures transparency and avoids any potential disputes related to any changes in sponsorship ownership.

IV/ Note

• We (NEAR Vietnam Hub) will not sponsor events related to promoting gambling, illegal trading, money laundering, or any criminal activities in general.
• NEAR Vietnam Hub has the authority to decline sponsorship based on its own judgment, which includes the possibility of rejecting events that contradict NEAR Vietnam Hub’s Sponsorship Policy Procedures. Ultimately, the Director of NEAR Vietnam Hub holds the final decision-making power in case any concerns arise.

I/ Thông tin chung

Chương trình tài trợ sự kiện cộng đồng được thiết kế để hỗ trợ  các hoạt động tương tác giữa cộng đồng với hệ sinh thái NEAR. Sự kiện được xem xét nhận tài trợ là những sự kiện hỗ trợ cộng đồng cập nhật những thông tin và tin tức liên quan đến hệ sinh thái NEAR  và tin tức thông tin thị trường Blockchain có sự liên quan đến hệ sinh thái NEAR, v.v. Nguồn tài trợ này sẽ đến từ NEAR Vietnam Hub.

II/ Điều kiện và tiêu chí cấp 

• Thời gian: Yêu cầu tài trợ phải được gửi 3 tuần trước ngày diễn ra sự kiện.
• Tiêu chí: Các sự kiện phải đáp ứng ít nhất một trong các tiêu chí sau:

• Chia sẻ kiến thức, thông tin về công nghệ, thị trường và sự phát triển Blockchain 
• Cập nhật các thông tin thị trường Blockchain có liên quan đến Hệ sinh thái NEAR/Dự án được xây dựng trên Hệ sinh thái NEAR.

• Số lượng người tham dự thực tế: Từ 50 người tham dự trở lên và cam kết số lượng tham dự thực tế đúng với quy mô.

• Làm khảo sát NPS: 50+ và đảm bảo 70% số người tham gia sự kiện hài lòng về chương trình (Sẽ được NEAR Vietnam Hub hướng dẫn chi tiết)

• Trách nhiệm: 

• • Cộng đồng hoặc tổ chức được cấp tài trợ phải chịu trách nhiệm thực hiện sự kiện từ đầu đến cuối. Yêu cầu này đảm bảo rằng Cộng đồng/Tổ chức có toàn quyền sở hữu và chịu trách nhiệm về sự thành công của sự kiện.

• • Hình ảnh branding sự kiện phải đúng theo guideline thương hiệu NEAR và được duyệt từ phía NEAR Vietnam Hub trước khi truyền thông.
• Nội dung Sự kiện: Sự kiện được đề xuất có nội dung giá trị, bao gồm các bài thuyết trình, hội thảo, thảo luận hoặc bất kỳ định dạng nào khác nhằm chia sẻ kiến thức và kinh nghiệm trong cộng đồng. Nội dung liên quan đến Hệ sinh thái NEAR cần được gửi cho NEAR Vietnam Hub xem và duyệt chi tiết chương trình chậm nhất trước 7 ngày làm việc trước khi sự kiện diễn ra.

III/ Các quy định giải ngân 

1. Các sự kiện được “yêu cầu tài trợ” sẽ trải qua quá trình sàng lọc để đánh giá chất lượng, sự phù hợp, đối tượng tham dự và giá trị mà nó mang lại cho Hệ sinh thái NEAR. Điều này đảm bảo rằng các khoản tài trợ được trao cho các cộng đồng để tổ chức sự kiện phù hợp với mục tiêu và có tác động tích cực đến hệ sinh thái NEAR nói chung và NEAR Vietnam Hub nói riêng. NEAR Vietnam Hub có toàn quyền quyết định có trao tài trợ cho một sự kiện cụ thể hay không.
2. Hợp đồng Thỏa thuận tài trợ, hoặc bất kỳ hợp đồng liên quan nào, phải được ký kết trước 14 ngày sự kiện diễn ra. NEAR Vietnam Hub không có nghĩa vụ tạm ứng bất kỳ khoản tài trợ nào cho đến khi thỏa thuận (tài trợ) được thực hiện bởi cả hai bên. Do đó, trách nhiệm của bạn và vì lợi ích của bạn là đảm bảo rằng mọi đơn đăng ký được gửi kịp thời để đảm bảo rằng nguồn tài trợ của bạn được đảm bảo cho một sự kiện cụ thể, nếu không chúng tôi không thể đảm bảo.
3. Tiến độ giải ngân ngân sách tài trợ sẽ được phân thành 2 kỳ (trước event và 3 ngày sau khi sự kiện kết thúc được nghiệm thu và gửi báo cáo đầy đủ). Mô tả chi tiết về các cột mốc dự định đạt được với nguồn tài trợ không hoàn lại.Ví dụ:○ Đợt 1:  Cung cấp đầy đủ các kế hoạch đề xuất, KPI và OKR cam kết cho sự kiện. Tiền thanh toán đợt 1 sẽ được gửi trong vòng 5 ngày từ khi nhận được hoá đơn.○ Đợt 2: Cung cấp Kết quả thực hiện so với KPI được thỏa thuận ban đầu và nghiệm thu đầy đủ các hoạt động đã thỏa thuận kèm với bảng báo cáo sau sự kiện. Đợt thanh toán sẽ được thực hiện sau khi đã hoàn thành nhiệm thu và sau 3 ngày kể từ khi nhận được hoá đơn.
4. Trường hợp khác: Thay đổi người nhận tài trợ: Nếu có một thay đổi được đề xuất cho người nhận tài trợ sau khi nộp đơn đăng ký ban đầu, thay đổi phải được ghi lại trước, bằng văn bản, với sự đồng ý rõ ràng của cả bên gửi đi và bên đến. Yêu cầu này đảm bảo tính minh bạch và tránh mọi tranh chấp tiềm ẩn liên quan đến bất kỳ thay đổi nào về quyền sở hữu tài trợ.

IV/ Lưu ý  

• Chúng tôi (NEAR Vietnam Hub) sẽ không tài trợ cho các sự kiện liên quan đến khuyến khích cờ bạc, buôn bán bất hợp pháp, rửa tiền hoặc các hoạt động tội phạm nói chung. 

• NEAR Vietnam Hub có quyền từ chối một khoản tài trợ theo quyết định riêng của mình, bao gồm (nhưng không giới hạn) nếu một Sự kiện mâu thuẫn với Thủ tục Chính sách Tài trợ của NEAR Vietnam Hub.

• Trong trường hợp có vấn đề xảy ra thì quyền quyết định cuối cùng thuộc về Giám Đốc NEAR Vietnam Hub.

Web3 Event Hackfest is a large and creative hackathon organized to create a challenging space and opportunity for builders and developers who are building and developing projects on Web2 & Web3. With the theme “UNLIMITED HACKER”, this event will spark creativity and pioneer the exploration of the limitless potential of Blockchain technology.

NEAR APAC conference will last for 4 months (from June 2023 to September 2023) with many events taking place, and the ultimate focus will be the conference and exhibition in 2 days between September 9-10, 2023 at Thiskyhall – The most luxurious convention center in Ho Chi Minh.

In particular, in this May, the NEAR APAC conference will officially open the first registration round for early individuals and organizations.

Go to the ShardDog interface to create a NEAR Wallet, this is how to create a free .near account. You go to the link https://shard.dog/nearapac , select “I’m not a robot”, solve the captcha and select “Fetch My ShardDog”.

Step 2: Get token as fee

After a few seconds, the NEAR Wallet interface will appear, informing that you have received 0.006 NEAR for account creation fee. Select “Claim with New Account”.

Step 3: Reserve an account name

You reserve an account name (Account ID) for the NEAR Wallet. Account names may include letters, numbers, and underscores so they don’t overlap with other accounts.

For example: NameA.near, gfiblockchain2023.near, nearapac_2023.near,…

Then select “Reserve My Account ID”.

Step 4: Choose a security method

You choose the security method for the wallet as “Secure Passphrase” -> “Continue”.

Select “Copy” to copy the 12 security phrases and save them in a safe place. These 12 phrases are the only “password” for you to log into your NEAR Wallet account.

Then select “Continue”.

Step 5: Confirm security phrases

NEAR Wallet requires you to prove that you have backed up 12 security phrases. You need to enter the phrases in the correct order, for example the word number 8 is “economy”. Then select “Verify & Complete” and wait for minutes.

Step 6: Connect NEAR Wallet with ticket registration website

After creating NEAR Wallet, the system will automatically go to website https://www.ticket-nearapac.app/, click “Connect” and select “NEAR Wallet”.

When the NEAR Wallet appears, select “Next” -> “Connect” to complete the connecting.

Step 7: Fill in the information to receive the VIP Ticket

After connecting the NEAR Wallet, select “Get Ticket”.

After that, fill in the following 3 fields:

• Name (required)
• Email (required): Please fill in correctly and double-check carefully in order to receive VIP ticket via email
• Phone number (optional): You should fill in your phone number so that the organizers can contact and support you when necessary.

Then select “Get Ticket”.

Step 8: Complete the receipt of the VIP Ticket

Congratulation! You have successfully registered for the VIP Ticket for the NEAR APAC 2023 conference. Please screenshot your ticket and remember to bring your ticket to the entrance for verification.

Step 9: Double-check VIP ticket in email

After successful registration, you will receive a confirmation email from NEAR APAC (support@nearapac.org). If you do not see the email, please check your spam folder.

This educational series will utilize the Coinbase Earn program to educate users about NEAR through video tutorials and interactive quizzes produced by Coinbase. Learn about running smart contracts in Javascript and Rust, joining or creating a DAO with a NEAR wallet, how Nightshade sharding is powering NEAR’s incredible scalability, and more. 

Funding Learn and Earn with Staking Rewards 

What makes this campaign unique is that it will be the first of its kind to use staking rewards to fund the initiative. Coinbase will manage NEAR tokens over a period of three years, collecting staking rewards and using those rewards to sustainably help users to learn about the utility of the NEAR token and what makes NEAR the world’s leading blockchain for developers, with its low fees, high speeds, and infinite scalability.

“In an era when many crypto companies have relied on unsustainable business models to grow and scale, it was important we found a way of helping educate people about the unique features of NEAR in a sustainable way,” says Marieke Flament, CEO of the NEAR Foundation.

To participate in the Earn campaign, open the Coinbase app and navigate to the “Learning Rewards” tab on the left hand menu. Once there, those logged in and eligible to earn will see the NEAR campaign. 

Integrating NEAR with Coinbase Custody

In addition to the Coinbase Earn program, the partnership will also integrate NEAR with Coinbase Custody—an independent, NYDFS-regulated entity offering clients access to secure, institutional-grade offline custody—and Coinbase Prime, an integrated solution that provides secure custody, an advanced trading platform, and additional prime services. 

“We are committed to democratizing access to the world of Web3 and giving more people the opportunity to help shape its future,” Flament says. “We are making it easier than ever for anyone to learn about the utility of the NEAR token and its ability to create a more accessible and sustainable Web3. We believe that through education, we take another step towards mass adoption.”

This partnership will allow NEAR Foundation to expand its ecosystem by tapping into the huge number of users who put their trust in Coinbase and showing them just how easy NEAR is to use and understand.
